The Maryland Hispanic Business Conference is very excited to announce that we will be naming the Latina Powerhouse Award and American Dream Award at our annual conference.  A brief description of each award is listed below.  Click below to download the pdf of the nomination form and nominate someone!

American Dream Award
This award is given to an entrepreneur/business owner who exemplifies the achievement of the American Dream through success in business after overcoming obstacles and hardships. In addition to business success, this individual also exhibits a commitment to community reinvestment through philanthropy, mentorship, volunteerism and/or community service.

Latina Powerhouse
A respected and accomplished entrepreneur/business woman who has not only successfully navigated the path to success in her field, but equally important, set a higher standard for success by maintaining a life balance between family, community service and career.


Governor’s Hispanic Heritage Awards

Each year, Governor Martin O’Malley and the Commission on Hispanic Affairs recognize qualified, outstanding individuals and an organization in Maryland that significantly contribute to the welfare and progress of our community.  The Nomination Form will soon be available!
